Which ACDelco filter fits a 5.3L V8?
It depends on the generation, and "5.3L" alone is not enough. The Gen V EcoTec3 5.3L (2014 and up trucks and SUVs) takes PF63. Older Gen III and Gen IV 5.3L engines take PF46E or PF48E depending on year and application. Same displacement, three different filters.

What is PF66 for?

- Engine code, not displacement. Read the eighth VIN character or the RPO label. A 5.3L takes three different filters depending on generation, and a 6.2L takes two.
